Mini recipe scrapbook albums make the perfect gift at Christmas time. Either add your own recipes or leave it blank and allow them to fill it with their favorites! The main pages of this mini album are chipboard with card stock pages in between that have recipe cards printed out. it is all held together with binder rings to an acrylic stand.

Here is a completed acrylic mini album.I used alcohol ink on the pages and metal embellishments in this mini album.

I started a mini album and finished the front cover so I wanted to share a few pictures. Throughout the mini album I used alcohol inks on each of the acrylic pages.On the front cover of this mini album I used sewing on the paper that I used to mat the design. I applied alcohol ink to the metal letters “Memories” as well as the metal flower. I also used a copper tone paint to free hand the vine design on the top and bottom of the page. This mini album has several pages left to complete and I will post pictures as I complete them.

Below is a mini album I made to highlight a spring break vacation. I used a collection of fibers on the binding for a burst of color. It’s always good to include landscape pictures from any vacation so you can remember the views you had.

This mini album was created to highlight a family visit. Alcohol inks with metal were used on the cover.

This album is assembled using two pieces of canvas with paper pages in-between that fold out for extra room to attach photos and embellishments. The assembly of the fold out pages and overall design was from a scrapbook “Quick Quotes” class during the 2009 Houston CK Scrapbook Convention.

This mini album was assembled using an acrylic album. Several of the pages are also paper based cut out using the Cricut machine. This particular album’s purpose was for a wedding, one of the pages have the lyrics of a song around the border. The color and them would also be great for the following themes: friendship, little girl, mother, daughter, or or just about anything you can put a flower with.

You can see the effect of layering multiple elements together and when using acrylic you can see though the layer to previous pages.

All assembled and just needs photos now.
